Come rock with us at Episode 10 of #OneLoveAtHeartland! For the month of October, the title and theme of the night will be “All of You,” named after the our NEW ALBUM (our first full-length album!) which we will be releasing in the next few weeks!!!, and inspired by the fact that many of our friends’ voices will be featured on the album as collaborators or as people who were kind enough to share their visions that keep them going to be used as audio samples on the album. So this month we are using this concept to highlight our newest release — which we are so proud of and excited about. And we are taking this moment to celebrate ALL OF YOU who we love so very much and keep in our hearts with every note of music that we play. Here’s to the work #AllOfYou do as we are creating that new world together!

Show up on time to catch the opening of the show and stick around till the end if you wanna hop in on the open jams/ciphers!

Our Chicago feature will be Chicago Hip Hop Crew Elephant Rebellion. ER is a full battalion of cultural workers, revolutionaries, homies, in short, artistic warriors! You definitely do not want to miss this show! (Fun fact: ER Crew member LO Kari is also featured on the album version of “heart beat,” which will be the single off of “All of You”!)

Our Rogers Park Spotlight will be our own drummer Tony Mest’s band, Halfstache! Heavy grooves, funky vibes, and some fiercely talented musicians from the neighborhood.

This is going to be one of our best shows yet!!!

As always, your house musicians will be your friendly neighborhood revolutionary folk-hop/fusion band Adam Gottlieb & OneLove. With danceable music and lyrics directly inspired by current struggles for social justice, OneLove offers songs to the soundtrack of our revolution. Because the band’s message is for everyone, the musical repertoire intentionally crosses many genres to create musical experiences with something for everyone. See you there!!
